Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Considerations
UK Funders are increasingly asking for consideration of EDI and Equitable partnerships (where some of the research is to be conducted overseas) in funding applications and it is wise to consider these at an early stage in the preparation of a proposal so they can be embedded throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Detailed information and links to further information around this area can be found in the attachment: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Equitable Partnerships in Research Funding Applications
An Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Consideration in Research Proposals checklist can be found here: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Considerations in Research Proposals
The above link is to a checklist for consideration at the outset of developing a research grant application, and should always be used together with any call-specific guidance.
