Disclosure and Barring Service
The °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ is registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and uses its services in order to make informed decisions when recruiting employees into positions of trust which involve regular contact with either children or vulnerable adults.
The DBS procedure outlines the University's approach and provides procedural guidance for conducting employee DBS checks. Schools and departments should ensure that where it is a requirement of the post, it is recorded appropriately on a Staffing Request Form and that all employees who will be working with children and/or vulnerable adults undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
If you are asked to complete a DBS application, please read the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Procedure carefully before completing your DBS application form.
