University Responsibilities
Rhiannon Jarvie is a lecturer in primary education and is also Assistant Director for the Primary PGCE programme at the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼. She contributes to the teaching and assessment of English, Professional Studies, RE and Drama. Her wider work sees her also contributing to the recruitment of trainee teachers on the PGCE and BA Ed programmes.
Rhiannon also supports the professional development of trainee teachers on both post-graduate programmes while they are on placement in schools. Rhiannon assists in the development and training for the partnership mentors who supervise Primary ITE trainees. She supports the assessment of BA Ed and MA assignments within the Institute of Education at the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼. As part of her own CPD, Rhiannon is currently undertaking the EDMAP course, delivered by the University.
