Supportive community

Be part of a close-knit community and enjoy getting to study on the smaller, idyllic London Road campus where both lectures and lecturers are based and benefit from easy access to your supervising tutors. Our dedicated team of academics are committed to ensuring the success of students and provide academic and pastoral support. You can also join the student-led Initial Teacher Training society, open to all education students, and appreciate socialising with like-minded individuals.

We are incredibly well-thought of in our field and you will benefit from our long-established reputation with employers. We also have strong partnerships with over 400 schools with many students on our teaching programmes being offered teaching roles as soon as they have finished.

Studying with the IoE also boasts high-employability rates, with 100% of our graduates  in work or further study within 15 months of leaving the course. (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2021/22, based on first degree responders from the Institute of Education.)
