Early Career Researcher Conference

Awards have been presented to early career researchers following talk and poster competitions at this year’s Early Career Researcher (ECR) Conference.

Our early career research community came together for an inspiring afternoon hearing about the range of research going on at Reading and the unexpected career journeys of a range of senior researchers, both in academia and industry, including Dr Fiona Marston, Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence.

Supporting researchers

At Reading, the Doctoral and Research College recognises that research staff are keen to develop throughout their career. We welcome all who identify as research staff members and would benefit from joining our community and accessing our career development opportunities. We are especially keen to support researchers on fixed-term contracts, particularly Postdoctoral Researchers, Research Assistants or Fellows. 

We aim to support staff in their current and future career journeys, whatever they may be. Our support displays our longstanding commitment to the .

Ask to join your research theme email distribution list to keep updated with all relevant staff announcements, funding calls, etc. Please contact the Research Dean's Office to request to be added to the appropriate distribution list.
