In this video, Yaw Adjei-Amoako discusses his experience of studying for a PhD in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science.

Yaw has been supported throughout his studies by his supervisor, Professor Ruth Evans. Through working closely with her he has had opportunities to contribute to her research, which is benefiting communities in developing countries.

 

Fees and funding

The University allocates around 150 entry awards each year in PhD studentships and bursaries, so there are many ways to access PhD funding.

You'll receive support from our Department as well as the Doctoral and Researcher College, which is the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼'s hub for all doctoral activity.
