Dr Omid Shariati is a Lecturer in Sustainable Technologies at the 澳门六合彩开奖记录, UK, and formerly served as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Power Engineering at Islamic Azad University (IAU), Birjand, Iran. He holds a PhD in Electrical Power Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and brings over 19 years of academic, research, and leadership experience.

He has held two prestigious fellowships at the 澳门六合彩开奖记录: an Innovate UK-funded Research Fellowship, followed by a two-year EPSRC-funded Senior Research Fellowship. His research centred on advanced AI models for power networks, contributing to transport decarbonisation and net-zero goals in collaboration with prominent UK institutions (e.g. the University of Nottingham and Newcastle University) and industrial partners (e.g. National Grid and Shell plc).
