Accreditation

Our MSc Consumer Behaviour and Marketing and MSc Food Economics and Marketing courses are accredited by the .

Our partnership with the CIM gives you the opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications at an accelerated pace after graduation, through the CIM Accredited Degree programme scheme.

Successful completion of our MSc Consumer Behaviour and Marketing or MSc Food Economics and Marketing degree will enable you to claim exemption on an Accredited Prior Learning (APL) basis from all but one module of the Certificate in Professional Marketing or Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing. Alternatively, graduates seeking the CIM Diploma will be exempt from all but two modules of the L6 Diploma in Professional Marketing or CIM Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing.

CIM qualifications are highly sought-after by employers and their content is reflected in our master's programmes, equipping you with the skills for a successful marketing career.

  • The School of Agriculture, Policy and Development is ranked 11th in the world for Agriculture and Forestry research (QS World University Rankings by Subject, 2022).
  • 95% of our research in this subject area is of international standing (Research Excellence Framework 2021, combining 4*, 3* and 2* submissions in Agriculture, Veterinary and Food Sciences).
  • 80% of our research in this subject area was rated as internationally excellent (REF 2021, combining 4*, 3* and 2* submissions in Agriculture, Veterinary and Food Sciences).

Interdisciplinary study

At the Graduate Institute for International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE), we cover natural and social sciences related to agriculture and the rural environment, food chains, applied economics and marketing, consumer behaviour, climate and environmental change and international development.

Our programmes are designed around this interdisciplinary environment, which allows us to reflect the real-life complexity of challenges that global communities and businesses face when aspiring to a sustainable future.
