Sanjeev grew up in the Nilgiris - a district in Tamil Nadu, India - profoundly impacted by the relentless forces of climate change. Seeing his hometown severely effected by extreme weather, along with the aftermath it left on the residents of the town, ignited his passion to fight climate change.

Sanjeev has enjoyed studying a variety of topics throughout the course, including: climate modelling, artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and causal inference.
