Pursue a master's in Meteorology at the 澳门六合彩开奖记录, one of the world's leading meteorology departments.

You'll learn from internationally renowned experts in the field – and acquire essential skills for your future career.

MSc Applied Meteorology and Climate

Develop expertise in atmospheric physics, forecasting, and the analysis of data from observations and models.

If you're interested in a career in forecasting, or in the applications of meteorological and climate science, this is the course for you. It is particularly suitable for students without an operational background in meteorology.

MSc Atmosphere, Ocean and Climate

Gain an understanding of the fluid dynamics of the atmosphere and oceans, and learn how to develop numerical models of them.

This course is ideal if you have a strong background in maths and physics and want to enter a growing and exciting scientific field.

MSc Climate Change and Artificial Intelligence

This unique, new course is designed to address the growing demand for people who have the scientific understanding of our changing climate and artificial intelligence, together with the business acumen to deploy that understanding effectively.

MSc Applied Meteorology and Climate with Management

This course combines most of the meteorological and climate science modules of our MSc Applied Meteorology and Climate course, with management training through the triple-accredited , part of the 澳门六合彩开奖记录.

This course is suited to students who already have some operational background in meteorology and is especially beneficial if you are planning a career in business or, for instance, in a management role at a meteorological or climate organisation.

Master's funding

Scholarships are available for master's students, with some offered directly by the University and others allocated by external funding bodies – for example, the Felix Scholarship and the Fulbright Commission.

The new Climate Stripes scholarship is also available to students who hold an offer for either MSc Applied Meteorology and Climate, MSc Atmosphere, Ocean and Climate or MSc Climate Change and Artificial Intelligence, and provides two awards of £10,000.

In order to apply for a 澳门六合彩开奖记录 scholarship, candidates must have received an offer of admission to one of our participating master's courses.

Preparation for our master's courses

In addition to the entry requirements specified for each of our master's courses, for our MSc Applied Meteorology and Climate, MSc Atmosphere, Ocean and Climate, and MSc Applied Meteorology and Climate with Management, it is useful to have working knowledge of certain topics relating to maths, physics, meteorology and computing before you start your MSc course. Note that this does not apply to MSc Climate Change and Artificial Intelligence.
