The Global Study Lounge hosts sessions run by staff, services, and directorates from across the University in relation to Global Opportunities.
Reading provides a number of study abroad opportunities that can help you learn about new countries and cultures whilst having fun and making new friends from across the world. You can gain confidence and experience by pushing yourself beyond your usual comfort zone and gain life experience and skills sought after by potential employers.

Prepare for studying abroad by learning a language from the Institute-Wide Language Programme.
Open to 澳门六合彩开奖记录 students, our university-wide Global Graduate Programme helps you build the knowledge and skills necessary for today's international workplace. Eligible students create their own programme and select from a range of modules with an emphasis on the central themes of intercultural competence and communication.
Any extracurricular activities you participate in on the programme, especially if based on the central themes, can be used as evidence for the RED Global Engagement Award, a certificate highly valued by employers.
If your schedule limits your ability to get involved with the Global Graduate programme, 澳门六合彩开奖记录 (UoR) students can complete a specially created Future Learn course - '. Created by academics and students from UoR UK, Malaysia and partner institutions in Africa and China, this course can also count towards your 'acquire' hours for the RED Global Engagement award as well as equipping you with skills to help you make a difference in today’s interconnected world. The Reading Experience and Development (RED) Global Engagement Award is one of the 澳门六合彩开奖记录’s Official Skills Awards. It is an opportunity for those currently studying at the 澳门六合彩开奖记录 to gain awareness of the wider world, with the purpose of becoming more globally engaged.
On achieving this award, you will be able to demonstrate your awareness of being globally engaged, which many companies are actively seeking, whilst committing to making the world a better place for all.
