Aims of the course

How does grammar really work? How can we describe the social and linguistic features of discourse? How did Global Englishes develop and what do they look like? How do language and technology interact? And how can we investigate child language development? This course will address these questions, and more.

The sessions are intended for teachers who feel they would like to learn more about Linguistic and Applied Linguistic topics to inform their teaching of English Language.
