Funding for your Teaching and Learning project
The University's Teaching and Learning funding schemes support the development of new and existing teaching and learning initiatives and projects, in alignment with the direction set out by the .
The University Strategic Plan 2020-26 sets out four strategic principles which shape the University’s actions and guide its decision-making and prioritisation:
- Principle 1: Community – putting our people first
- Principle 2: Excellence – aspiring to the highest standards
- Principle 3: Sustainability – managing our resources for today and tomorrow
- Principle 4: Engaged University – impact beyond our campuses.
Project proposals should be aligned with these principles, since selection panels will bear them in mind when making their decisions.
Teaching & Learning Funding schemes:
Teaching and Learning Enhancement Projects Scheme
The Teaching and Learning Enhancement Project (TLEP) is open to all staff who are involved in teaching and learning and are looking for 'start-up' funding for a project.
PLanT Projects Scheme
PLanT projects are small-scale initiatives which address the enhancement of teaching and learning priorities as identified by students and staff working in partnership.
Teaching and Learning Initiatives Funding
The T&L Initiatives Funding scheme aims to support small-scale initiatives across the University that will enhance teaching and learning and/or the student experience.
Funding Requirements and Guidance
The purpose of the guidance below is to support colleagues who are planning to submit an application for, or have already been allocated a Teaching & Learning Development Fund award with the overall planning and managing of the budget.
