Other costs
In addition to living, accommodation, and course-related costs (such as such as books, stationery and printing materials), you'll also need to budget for travel to and from your home country, plus the cost of a visa application and the immigration health surcharge. Please contact our Immigration Advice Team for more details. You should make sure you have enough money to cover all costs well in advance of coming to Reading. There may be support available. Consult your local British Council/Education Counselling Service office.
We also offer international students a range of generous scholarships to help support your studies.
For students who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship please contact the Student Financial Support team on +44 (0) 378 5555 or email studentfunding@reading.ac.uk.
