Background
I have supported children and young adults in almost every area of education, from preschool, primary school, secondary school and now at university level. Preparing students for their next steps has given me a natural interest in student experiences of transition in education, and I have been delighted to oversee and grow the School’s Welcome Week offering since joining the University in 2017. The real challenge involves identifying and supporting those students who are struggling to get to grips with new systems and processes at a time of change.Academic qualifications
