The 澳门六合彩开奖记录 is delighted to be confirmed as a member of the new Turing University Network to better facilitate connections across the data science and AI landscape.
The was launched by The Alan Turing Institute – the national institute for data science and artificial intelligence – as a new way of working with universities across the UK. The network is part of the Turing’s aimed at using data science and AI for social good.
As part of the network, the University will have the opportunity to engage and collaborate both with the Institute and its broader networks.
Professor James Ferryman, Professor of Computational Vision and Turing Academic Liaison, said: “We’re thrilled to be a member of the Turing University Network. It will help us develop better connections and facilitate meaningful collaboration across the data science and AI landscape.”
The network will support the Institute in achieving its three ambitious goals: advance world-class research and apply it to national and global challenges, build skills for the future, and drive an informed public conversation.
Dr Bonhi Bhattacharya, Senior Research Development Manager and Turing Liaison, said: “We are delighted to be one of 36 universities selected and we look forward to the many benefits, including access to both Turing and the vibrant, wider community which will ultimately accelerate our research and impact.”
The Institute is named in honour of Alan Turing, whose pioneering work in theoretical and applied mathematics, engineering and computing is considered to have laid the foundations for modern-day data science and artificial intelligence. The Institute’s goals are to undertake world-class research in data science and artificial intelligence, apply its research to real-world problems, driving economic impact and societal good, lead the training of a new generation of scientists, and shape the public conversation around data and algorithms.
