School facilities and resources
The School of Law is based in Foxhill House, a stunning Grade II-listed building on the University's main campus. We have beautiful views of Whiteknights lake and are surrounded by parkland.
You will benefit from integrated IT and e-learning within the curriculum, in addition to a well-resourced library and electronic legal databases including Westlaw and LexisNexis.
Supportive study environment
We see our students as individuals, with different needs.
An induction will demonstrate how you can prepare for legal study - introducing you to useful legal and study skills. We will explain how you can maximise your time with us, including wider opportunities available within the School of Law.
Throughout your studies, you will receive a high level of ongoing support from your academic tutor. Your progress will be monitored at every stage to ensure that you can reach your potential.
Our course, Academic writing for LLM students, run in conjunction with the International Study and Language Institute (ISLI), will help with your essay writing skills. For our international students, we can provide additional language support.
International students
For international students, we also offer pre-arrival support, including a specialised induction programme, dedicated library and career sessions, and law language teaching. A full-time International Teaching Associate is also on hand to help you throughout your degree.
