Dr Parslow has a particular interest in supporting students' transition to higher education, and in developing life-long, self-directed learners. He is interested in:

Research projects

Dr Parslow has been involved in a range of research projects funded by the EU and by JISC looking at technology enhanced learning and digital identity.

Background

Dr Parslow came to Reading in 1984 as an undergraduate, dropped out, and had a career as a software engineer and IT analyst for a number of years before returning to get a degree (or three).

Awards and honours

In 2016, Dr Parslow was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award for Science.
