Study AbroadÌý


Aims:

This module aims to enable students to study for two terms or one/two semesters (Spring and Summer Term for UoR) in a University in the United States, Canada, Australia or Europe.


Assessable learning outcomes:

These will be in accordance with the Learning Outcomes specified by the Host Institution, and will include assessment on Cognitive and Biological Psychology.


Additional outcomes:

By the end of the module it is expected that the student will have studied a number of courses in a Psychology Department in their chosen host university, including modules covering material on Cognitive and Biopsychology.Ìý


Outline content:

Students will choose from the range of courses offered by the host institutions. These courses will amount to the equivalent of 60 credits from the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ and must include Cognitive and Biological Psychology.


Global context:

Students will have the opportunity to broaden their education through studying abroad and experiencing the life and culture of another country.Ìý

Penalties for late submission:

The Support Centres will apply the following penalties for work submitted late:

  • where the piece of work is submitted after the original deadline (or any formally agreed extension to the deadline): 10% of the total marks available for that piece of work will be deducted from the mark for each working day (or part thereof) following the deadline up to a total of five working days;
  • where the piece of work is submitted more than five working days after the original deadline (or any formally agreed extension to the deadline): a mark of zero will be recorded.
