Introduction to business and professional values. Five Seminar Themes: Values and Ethics; Corporate Social Responsibility; Sustainability; Leadership, Reputation and Corruption; Diversity and Inclusion.Ìý


Aims:

The aim of this module is to develop the students’Ìýunderstanding of core business and professional values and to illustrate the relevance of such value sets to professional practice in the real estate sector.Ìý

Assessable learning outcomes:

Upon completion of the module, students should be able to:Ìý





  • demonstrate aÌýsystematic understanding of the relevance of business and professional values to professional practice in the real estate sector;Ìý




  • deal with complex ‘real world’ value issues,Ìýboth systematically and creatively,Ìýand to make sound judgements in the absence of complete data;Ìý




  • demonstrate the ability to evaluate and critique competing solutions;Ìý




  • demonstrateÌýself-direction and originality in tackling and solving problems related to business and professional values.ÌýÌýÌý
