Gain the required entry qualifications with an International Foundation Year

If you want to study mathematics at a British university, but don't have the correct qualifications, we offer an International Foundation Year option with selected undergraduate courses.

The foundation year is designed to equip international students with the subject-specific and general study skills needed to cope with the demands of undergraduate study.

Combine your mathematics study with work experience

All the courses we offer are available with the option of a paid placement in industry that forms a recognised part of the degree.

A placement year is a fantastic opportunity to gain 12 months' work experience in an area that is directly related to your course or potential career path. Our dedicated Placements Team will help you to find a placement that suits you and your career aspirations.

You'll undertake the placement year during the third year of your course. Your first two years will be based at university, where you will develop a thorough knowledge of your chosen subject, which can then be applied in an industry-specific placement.
